When this box is checked, the settings of the Master folder are used to set the views and icon positions of the other folder, so that their contents appear in the identical positions on the desktop.

When using this option, it is best to close any windows which are open in the Finder, because the Finder remembers information about the view and location of icons in a folder. If you synchronize two folders when windows are open in the Finder, some of the location information may be re-written by the Finder at a later time, causing views and locations that Synchronize! Pro recorded to be lost.
